  The property was clean and the condo was very nice. Fully updated and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. There are grills in the courtyard if you don't want to go out for dinner every night.
  BTW, most restaurants stop seating around 8p. Plan accordingly. The Texan (Lil' Buccee) gas station on the corner has a good selection of food and drinks, and even has a small restaurant inside. The property is only half a block from the beach, but the setup of the condo's doesn't provide you a view of the beach. That's probably the only drawback in my opinion. That's why I only left 4 stars on that question. Otherwise we were very happy with everything and would stay here again.

    There is a lift at the end of the hall to bring your bags up. Next to it, there is a large gap in the railing- mind you this is on the third floor. My 2 year old son fit right through that spot and thank God I was standing right there so I grabbed him but if I had looked away for even a second, things would have ended very differently. There needs to be a rail inserted in that spot and I hope by the next time we visit, it has been fixed.

  Unit more intuned for short term stay—locked doors in kitchen, bath,and bedroom. Very well equipped kitchen,can’t imagine anything you would need to bring from home except from groceries! Lots of decorations. Did reserve for next year. Swimming pool closed but would have been too cold outside to use anyway.

  We had a great experience with Padre Escape. The whole process was extremely easy from bookin our room, to check-in, and check-out. Our condo was very spacious and comfortably fit 4. It was whimsically decorated, clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. The Courtyard is situated very close to the beach. The pool was relaxing and there are nice and clean BBQ sites to utilize. There is also a fish cleaning station.

  We had a happy time in this place, birding and hiling every day. We were very satisfied that we vaccinated in Aransas pass.During the winter snow storm,we had a difficult time.But the city goverment of Port Aransans supplied us with warm place,warm food and warm was very helpful.   This condo appears to be newly remodeled and is so nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and has new/modern appliances including a keurig. The murphy bed is such a smart (and comfortable) addition! It's walking distance (3 blocks) to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking to book the condo again in September. Check in and check out was easy.
