Pirates Lair PB215

This Pirates Bay Phase II cottage is located right next to the beautiful lagoon pool, a short walk to the playscape and less than a mile to the beach. Perfect for your coastal get away! Our cottage features a large master bedroom with a King size bed and a walk-in closet and private bath, guest room with a queen size bed and bunk beds in a hallway nook. All furniture is new and the unit has been fully renovated. The kitchen has granite counter tops, new stainless steel appliances and all the cookware/utensils you will need for your stay. There is table seating for 8 and three additional bar stools at the kitchen counter. The living room has a 65" Samsung TV and each bedroom has a TV. All TVs are equipped with Spectrum Cable. We also have high speed internet. 3 night minimum on holidays.

This unit has parking for 2 cars. Any additional cars will be towed. This is not a golf cart accessible property.

  Our stay was great. The unit was very clean, kitchen had ample supplies, and it's conveniently located right next to the community pool. The communication was also great. The beds and pillows were not comfortable at all. Also note that golf carts are not permitted because of the location not having a safe place to cross the road. I wish we had known that before booking but it didn't affect our stay. I would consider renting here again if the bedding was replaced, but unfortunately for me getting a good nights sleep on vacation is a deal breaker.

  This is our second year renting Pirates Lair PB215 and we will probably be renting it in our future visits to Port Aransas. It's clean, well cared for, and convenient to the beach and town. The only maintenance item that needs to be addressed is that the hinges on the master bathroom door needs lubricating. All in all, we love Port Aransas and enjoy PB215!

  This was a great condo for a family. We went with our 5 year old and 1 year old. I particularly loved the proximity to the pool and that the little porch area was fenced in so I could sit outside with the baby when he woke up early and we didn't disturb anyone but I didn't have to worry about him running off. The condo was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. My daughter also loved the playground by the pool. Definitely will consider again in the future!

  We had a wonder four days. This cozy home had an excellent kitchen setup, anything you need was provided. The unit was spotless and during these times we felt vey comfortable renting this property. You step outside and you are by the pool gate entrance. The pool area was very inviting.
  The management Group was very helpful and welcoming. We had no issues but have stayed in their properties in the past and they have always been prompt to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

  I would recommend this rental to others, but I feel a few things could be noted. For example 2 rooms are locked at this rental which I u understand but was weird to see. The other thing was we didnt even get to use the pool because it was so packed. Looked like 1 family was having a reunion, loud music and lots of people.   This property was perfect for our family! The pool and outdoor grill area were steps away from our adorable outdoor patio. We were close to the beach which was a huge plus. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans and a coffee pot. There was plenty of room at the dining table and the shower in the master bath was to die for! The only thing that wasn't so not were the beds, they weren't very comfortable. Overall, it was a great stay and we can't wait to book again.

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Pirates Lair PB215. Everything in the condo is new and it is just a short drive to the beach. The location is ideal for kids as the pool is right outside the front porch. The only critique that I have is both mattresses on the beds should be updated as they are not comfortable. Other than that it was great!!

  We had an incredible time. Beautiful well maintained condo. Even though sign on pool said it closed at 11pm, the it was full at 1am. But, it was quiet. You could not hear folks in the pool.
  Only negative thing I can say is the wireless did not work. We rebooted the router 3 times to no avail.

  We took our High School age Girl Scouts to the coast for the weekend. This location was close, safe and perfect for us! The kitchen was well stocked to fix our meals, the rooms were spacious, the floors were easy to clean. We faced the pool, so we could watch the girls from our patio.   We looked for a while to find a reasonably priced property that slept up to 8. This was a great find. 2 BR but had bunks in the hall that allowed more to sleep comfortably. Property and appliances were new. Was well maintained and clean. Was right next to the pool but did not hear any significant noise. Getting to the beach was a quick drive and really not any different then the "beachfront" properties we have stayed in before, as we take so much stuff we end up driving anyway. Only negatives (and I am reaching here) were parking was a bit tight, as was the hallway (especially when the hall closet was open). A wonderful property and we will likely be coming back.

  Amazing cottage! amazing place! sadly, too many children in the pool, which happens to be too small for the amount of cottages sharing it. It's quite perfect for families with small children, but if you don't have any I don't quite recommend it. It is also far from the sea.

  This particular house was directly in front of the pool which was very convenient for the kids. It was spacious, clean and well maintained.

  Fantastic little condo! about 1/4-1/2 mile to the beach access road and you can drive right on the beach. Very close to the pool, which the kids loved.   It was a great home and beautiful inside. There was a little construction noise on Sunday morning but nothing too bothersome. The only thing that could have been better is if it has beach access. The location is good and the walk to the beach would be about 15minutes but it was a quick drive to the beach, shopping and resturants.
